M022

Building on the success of the of M021, the M022 is a true culmination of the multiple generations of research and development completed by the team. Built on the M021 platform, it sported its famous McLaren Papaya livery, a homage to the 50th anniversary of the passing of Bruce McLaren in 2020, seeking to make a bold impression in our first year back at competition and win. Sporting a new cooling and aerodynamics system, the M022 was able to be pushed to its potential in Australia, garnering the teams first historic category win as well as our first dynamic event win!
