The M018 shared many similarities with the M017, although what did make an appearance was a reworking of the underside of the chassis alongside the return of side wings and new rear cooling ducts. Identifying and targeting key areas of the aero meant that the M018 recorded a best-equal result of 3rd in Australasia.
